Your business
is better than
your website.
Let's show it.

I build modern, custom websites for companies that want to look online exactly as professional as they are in person – handled personally, built cleanly, designed to turn visitors into enquiries.

The problem

Good companies lose work to weaker ones –
because of the website.

Anyone looking for a tradesperson, a service provider or a specialist compares online, in seconds. If the website looks dated, the enquiry goes to a competitor – regardless of who actually does the better work.

The typical company website

  • Looks broken or tiny on a phone
  • Hides the work and the strengths worth showing
  • No clear route to an enquiry: visitors arrive, then leave
  • Loads slowly and feels like it was built years ago

A website by KONO Digital

  • Designed for mobile first – that is where your customers search
  • Your quality, your projects and your proof front and centre
  • Clear routes to contact you, each one a single tap away
  • Fast, technically clean, ready for search engines

Do you run a trades business? Here is what matters most for you

For your industry

Two industries I know particularly well.

For both I have written down what a website really has to deliver, how it is structured and what it costs – no call required.

For skilled trades

Getting found, building trust, triggering enquiries – and reaching the next generation of apprentices. The fourth job is almost always forgotten, although it is often the most expensive one today.

For golf businesses

Academies, pros, fitting studios and clubs. Golf is a market built on trust – and with FindYourGolfClub the matching reference comes from exactly this industry.

Common questions

What clients want to know before starting.

Money and risk

Can I see a design before I commit?

If you want, yes: before you place an order you receive a non-binding design draft of your homepage – free of charge and without signing anything. If you do not like it, that is where we stop, and you owe nothing.

What if I don't like the first design?

The process is built for that: you see a design direction early and give feedback before everything is fully developed. The Compact and Business packages each include one structured feedback round, Business Plus two – and because you talk directly to the person building your site, corrections are fast instead of travelling through three departments.

How does payment work?

You receive a written fixed-price quote first. 30% is due when you place the order, the remaining 70% once you have approved the finished website – before it goes live. I do not ask for the full amount in advance: you never risk more than 30% before the finished site is in front of you. Payment is by bank transfer to KONO Digital in Lisbon (NIF 329332449), and you have the invoice in hand before you pay.

What does a website cost?

Compact websites start at €480; most company websites land at €760 – each with operations & care from €32/month. Once the scope is clear you get a fixed price – and it does not move afterwards.

Which running costs should I expect?

Every package comes with operations & care: hosting, backups, technical maintenance and small changes – €32/month (Compact, including up to 30 minutes of changes), €44/month (Business, up to 1 hour) or €64/month (Business Plus, up to 2 hours), billed monthly for a term of one year at a time, as final prices with no VAT charged (Article 53 CIVA, Portugal). If you would rather run the website yourself, you pay a one-off handover price – twice the package price – and after that only the usual domain and hosting fees of your provider.

Security and ownership

Who owns the website – even if I switch later?

You do. Domain, content and the finished website belong to you in every case – including if you end the care package or move to another provider. You are not locked into a closed system.

What happens to my website if something happens to you?

A fair question when you are dealing with a one-person business – which is why nothing is deliberately tied to me. Your website runs on ordinary standard technology with no proprietary system; the domain, access details, content and the complete source code belong to you. Any web developer can take it over without first having to learn someone else's system. You are tied neither to a closed platform nor to a person.

Can I keep my existing domain?

Yes. Your domain and your email addresses stay as they are – the move is prepared properly so nothing goes down.

Why not a website builder like Wix, Jimdo or Squarespace?

Site builders are fine for a quick start – but you are building on rented ground: design and tech stay within the provider's limits, and if you end the subscription, the website is gone. KONO Digital builds an individually developed website without builder templates – one that belongs to you and can grow freely, even if you end the care later on.

KONO Digital is based in Lisbon – does remote work?

Yes – that is the normal case: coordination in writing by email, by video call if you prefer, work-in-progress shared as clickable links. KONO Digital is based in Lisbon and works with businesses across the EU: the same working hours as Dublin, one hour behind Amsterdam. Enquiries are normally answered within one working day.

Process and effort

How long does a project take?

A typical company website is live in two to four weeks, depending on how quickly content and feedback come together.

Do I have to supply the text and photos?

We use whatever you already have. Missing copy I draft from what you tell me – you review and approve it. For photography we discuss what is worth doing: for local businesses, real photos almost always beat stock images.

Is the website optimised for phones?

Yes – it is designed for phones first and then extended to larger screens. Most of your visitors arrive on mobile.

What happens after launch?

I take care of hosting, backups, technical maintenance and small changes – billed monthly, for a term of one year at a time. If you would rather run the website yourself, I hand it over completely at the handover price. Either way, it belongs to you.

Can the website grow later?

Yes, the structure is built for it: new pages, references or features can be added without rebuilding.

My website is old – can it be modernised?

Usually a fresh build on a modern base is faster, cheaper and better than patching the old one. Your content, your domain and everything that works come along.

Let's talk about your website.

Write to me about your project – you get an honest assessment of what is possible, how long it takes and what it costs. Usually within one working day.
