Work

Work that speaks for itself.

KONO Digital deliberately keeps no portfolio full of claims. What is listed here was actually built – starting with an independent digital product. Client projects will be added as they go live.

Find Your Golf Club

An international lost-and-found platform for golf clubs: anyone who loses or finds a club reports it in two minutes – free, anonymous, no account. AI-assisted matching compares loss and find reports and notifies both sides automatically by email.

7,300+golf courses listed
24languages worldwide
23partner clubs
9countries

Challenge

Lost golf clubs end up in lost-property boxes and are never collected – there was no central, trustworthy place to bring losses and finds together. The barrier had to be radically low: no registration, no app, every language.

Solution

A report form that takes two minutes – with automatic photo recognition of brand and club type. AI matching (scoring across brand, type, location, date and description) connects matching reports. Proof of ownership before every handover builds trust. Plus a club portal for golf clubs, printable QR tags, a live board and 24 languages.

Result

A live platform with more than 7,300 golf courses listed, 23 active partner clubs across 9 countries and reports coming in – conceived, designed and developed entirely by KONO Digital: branding, UX, frontend, backend and operations. (figures as of 09/2026)

The decisions behind it

It was not the technology that decided it, but the questions before it. A report without an account, because every registration loses users. Proof of ownership before any handover, because in a trust market nobody hands a club to a stranger. And mobile handling that works while someone is standing in the car park.

The actual difficulty

The form was never the hard part – matching was. Whoever finds a club describes it in their language, whoever lost it in another, often with different terms for brand and model. Both sides have to find each other without knowing each other and without creating an account first. And still, before any handover, it has to be settled who the club belongs to.

kono-digital.de – the work sample you are looking at

This website is a KONO project itself: concept, design, copy and code – no template, no site builder. In seven languages (German, English, Portuguese, French, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish), with its own design system, self-hosted fonts and its own form backend. Exactly the way of working your project gets, too.

The KONO website check

A self-developed analysis tool: enter an address and within about 30 seconds the check shows how a homepage performs on speed, mobile use, contact paths and mandatory legal details – in plain language, free, no sign-up. The tool and its emailed report run in all seven languages of this website.

What the check measures

  • Mobile use
  • Speed & technology
  • Ways to get in touch
  • Findability
  • Legal essentials

Why it states what it cannot do

Any provider giving away a free analysis tool has an interest in the result. That is why the check shows its measurements openly, states under every verdict that I build websites, and names its own blind spots: it only sees the homepage and only what is technically measurable.
